Playgrounds
Jump, run, and play until you drop! Our playgrounds offer climbing frames, swings, and slides. Head out and find your favorite playground in Dorf Tirol:

• At the Örtlerhof – with a playhouse, sandpit, and nest swing
• In Burglehenpark on the main street (next to the mini-golf course) – perfect for parents to relax
• Forest playground at Tiroler Kreuz
• Between Seminarstraße and Lingweg – ideal in summer months with plenty of shade
• Outside school hours: at the school building on the main street (above the town hall).

Mini Golf, Tennis, and Beach Volleyball

Tennis & Beach Volleyball – Dorf Tirol has sand courts and beach volleyball courts with floodlighting. Reservation required.

At the Village Falconer of Dorf Tirol!
Experience the majestic birds up close at the Falconry Flight Show at the Bird of Prey Care Center. Located on the hill of Schloss Tirol in Dorf Tirol, the center cares for injured or orphaned birds before releasing them back into the wild. The educational trail gives you fascinating insights into the life of these magnificent birds, and the flight demonstrations take place twice daily at 11:15 am and 3:15 pm.

Step back in time at Schloss Tirol! Each room covers a specific historical theme, from prehistory and medieval life to memories of the 20th century.

Brunnenburg
Visit the agricultural museum at Brunnenburg. In addition to exploring the castle, you can see various traditional farm animal breeds, including Mangalitza pigs, Zackel sheep, Villnösser Brillenschafe, peafowl goats, Tyrolean "blobe Goas," rare chickens, ducks, and geese.

Exploring on Foot
Off to the mountains! Discover hiking trails with stunning views where you can enjoy the landscape like a king from his castle. To keep things manageable, here are some trails especially suited for children:

Hiking Pass
Hike our recommended routes and mountain tours. You’ll earn points for each hike, and the hike is confirmed by a stamp at a hut along the way. Collect your points and earn the Dorf Tirol Hiking Badge in gold, silver, or bronze! A certificate is available upon request at the reception.

Mountain Coaster
The longest alpine coaster in Italy, the Alpin Bob, is located in the Meran 2000 ski and hiking area.

Located at the Kränzel Winery in Tscherms, this 1.7-hectare garden features the natural beauty of the enchanting labyrinth garden.

Outdoor Adventure Paradise – High Ropes Course in Taser
Your children will have no time for electronic gadgets in our 1000+ m² play area, which includes a mountain zoo, an Indian village, slides, a cable car, sandboxes, a lookout tower, and much more. The high ropes course is set up 15 meters above the ground, suspended between larch and spruce trees with steel ropes, suspension bridges, regular ropes, and many obstacles.
