The Fine Print

  • Cancellation Policy: We charge the empty bed fee according to Italian guest accommodation contract law, which also applies in case of early departure.
    • Up to 40 days before arrival: Free of charge
    • 39 - 15 days before arrival: 50% of the total price
    • 14 days or less before arrival, late arrival, and early departure: 100% of the total price, minus €25 per full-paying person/day for half board.
    • Cancellations are unfortunate and frustrating. It's a pity when rooms remain vacant while others would have loved to stay. Please inform us in time.
    • Important: For online bookings, the cancellation policies of the respective booking portals apply!
    • Take advantage of European travel insurance!
  • Prices & Inclusions: Prices are per person per day and include: Half board, A parking space, Use of the heated infinity pool, Access to the small Rebstock Spa, Südtirol GuestPass, Holiday perks. The local tourist tax (€2.90 per person/day from 14 years) is not included in the price. Your holiday begins with the Örtlerhof gourmet half board on the day of arrival and ends with breakfast on the day of departure. Note: The kitchen is closed on Fridays—there will be no dinner. For this, we deduct €15 per adult/day and €6 per child (up to 14 years). For packages, only 6x half board is included. Packages are only bookable with half board. Longer stays = lower prices! Arrival & Departure: Check-in: From 2:00 PM. If arriving later than 6:00 PM, please inform us. Check-out: Until 10:00 AM. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a specific room number or floor, but we will do our best to accommodate your request. For stays under 4 days, a surcharge of €5 per person/day applies.
  • All rooms are equipped with: Shower, toilet, hairdryer, makeup mirror, Telephone, safe, satellite TV, Balcony/terrace, minibar, Some with air conditioning and wooden floors.
  • If you wish to skip the dinner menu (please inform us by 9:30 AM), we will credit you €15 per adult/day and €6 per child/day (up to 14 years). 
  • A carport parking space costs €10 per day. It is included for Double Room Olive, Double Room Gartenglück, and Nusszimmer Garten.
  • Luggage transport with Insam Express – more info at insamexpress.it.

  • Referral bonus: Recommend us and receive a €4 credit per full-paying person/day for your next Örtlerhof stay.
  • Internet & Payments: Free Wi-Fi – high-speed fiber optic connection.
  • Cash limit: Due to Italian law, we cannot accept cash payments over €4,999.99. Discount: Pay in cash on arrival and receive a 2% discount.   • Reservation deposit: To confirm your booking, please transfer €250 per room (free of charge for the recipient). For transfers from Switzerland, please use the OUR option. Deposits are non-refundable but remain valid for a future stay if cancellation is made within the allowed period.
  • Travel & Transportation: 
    • From Munich Main Station: Direct bus service "Meraner Land Express" to Örtlerhof (Sundays & Wednesdays).
    • Flights: SkyAlps offers connections to Bolzano Airport with a free shuttle to Örtlerhof.
    • By train: From Brenner, take regional trains (free with the Südtirol GuestPass) to Merano. We can send you a QR code for your ticket. Bonus for train travelers: For stays of 7+ days, enjoy a free cable car ride to Hochmuth!
  • Pet Policy: Pets are welcome upon request (€17/day, food not included) under the following conditions: Must be well-behaved, clean, and quiet. Please bring a pet bed/basket. Access to the lawn is only allowed in designated areas. No entry to the dining room/terrace during meal times. Pets may not sleep in the bed. If additional cleaning is required, a €30 cleaning fee will be charged.
